Back for their 15th year at Concerts on the Hill, FlashBack has been cranking out songs from the 50’s 60’s & 70’s for the last 14 years. The misfits come from a variety of different backgrounds and previous bands, playing a variety of different music. The noise makers are as follows: Mike Hemming – bass guitar, Larry Hunsaker – lead guitar, Eric Freebairn percussion, Tim Rasmussen – lead vocals & rhythm guitar, Steve Wood – rhythm guitar & lead vocals, Jeff Palmer rhythm & acoustic guitar,    &    Scott Freebairn-keyboards & vocals.


Freebarin & Friends

Brothers Eric and Scott Freebairn have many friends and family they’ve enjoyed playing rock’n roll with over the years, and Freebairn & Friends was born out of the desire to get as many of them together on one stage when ever they can, and “make some noise”. “make some noise. Their lineup includes: Dana Freebairn-vocals, Jeff Manning-vocals & guitar, Larry Hunsaker-lead guitar, Mike Leatham-rhythm guitar, Mike Hemming-bass guitar,      &    Scott Freebairn-keyboards & vocals.



Scott Melvin Freebairn

Scott Melvin Freebairn, age 65, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 17, 2021 in his home in Layton, Utah.

Scott married the love of his life, Doris Dee Fujii on November 22, 1980 in the Salt Lake Temple and they had two daughters, Brittany and Alyson, whom he loved and treasured very much.

Scott enjoyed playing keyboard in his rock bands Flashback and Freebairn & Friends. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and his two grandsons. He was so very proud of all of them.

For now Scott had to leave his beloved wife, Doris, his daughters Brittany (Brandon) Knighton, Alyson Freebairn, grandsons Hyrum and Caleb Knighton, siblings Kevin (Lynn) Freebairn, Todd (Mechele) Freebairn, Eric (Nancy) Freebairn, Dana (Carol) Freebairn and Christie (Keith) Perry, but they will be with him again.
